Job Description:
Boys Town is seeking a full time Case Management / Social Worker Supervisor for our Early Head Start Program. The Case Management / Social Worker Supervisor - Early Head Start Program oversees the delivery and documentation of intensive and professional case management services to youth. This position also monitors program services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contract objectives. As our Case Management / Social Worker Supervisor, some of your additional responsibilities will include:
• Supervising consultants in developing, monitoring, and reviewing service plans developed by consultants for youth as well as developing subsequent plans throughout care. 
• Supervising and providing assessment of staff problems and develops strategies to solve them. 
• Monitoring and ensuring that records and documentation, including service plans, forms, reports, case notes, narratives, outcome measures, and demographics, are completed appropriately and on time. 
• Assisting in accepting and screening referrals to the program. 
• Supervising and participating in service planning reviews, progress reviews, staff meetings, and case reviews. 
• Ensuring appropriate level of direct contact with youth and family members per program requirements, and remaining available to staff and youth 24/7, for crisis intervention as needed. 
• Assist ing in screening, hiring, and directing program staff; providing training for staff; providing observation and direction to consultants while in the field. 
• Developing and monitoring career path trajectories for consultants with particular emphasis on educational and experiential requirements necessary to assume the next level of program responsibility. 
• Building and maintaining relationships with community funding entities, governmental agencies, service providers, sources of support for families within the community and all program consumers. 
• Building and maintaining knowledge of various community systems such as child welfare, juvenile justice, educational, substance abuse and mental health. 
• Developing and maintaining effective data collection systems, providing required and appropriate data. Establishes and implements systems to predict and prevent potential problems. 
• Reviewing individual staff data to ensure that program guideline s are being followed, and uses data to improve efficiencies, outcomes, and staff development. 
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory, program, and accrediting body standards; provides necessary documents, maintaining certifications and licensures as required.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree
Other Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or Human Services; Master's degree is preferred. NOTE: Education and experience requirements may be higher based on Affiliate Site location, Local contracts, and Federal/State contract requirements. 
• 2 to 3 of years in case management working with children and families; Boys Town program experience is preferred. 
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, plus the ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete travel requirements of the job. Must meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check. 
• This position is on-call (continuously or rotationally) to provide support. 
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to youth care and of statutes and policies which affect target population. 
• Ability to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with youth, staff, and support agencies. 
• Knowledge of community resources and service providers available in the geographical area; knowledge of the functions and services of the community organizations and related human services. 
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization and with external business contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality. 
• Ability to successfully lead a te am of associates. 
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office. 
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
