FREE PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES
Family Resources for Early Education (FREE)

Agenda for Children is pleased to offer free parent education classes. The difficult job of parenting does not begin with a manual. Parents and other caretakers of children need information and support. Agenda for Children, in keeping with its commitment to children and families, addresses a portion of this need with the FREE Program.

F.R.E.E. Program Benefits

  • FREE will conduct classes/sessions at your site.
  • Classes are available on a wide range of topics including:
    • Guidance and Behavior
    • Social Development in Children
    • Stress Management
    • and more
  • Well-educated, knowledgeable and respected early childhood specialists teach all classes.
  • A special series "Right From Birth," which focuses on childhood development from birth to 18 months, is also available.
  • Child care providers and staff may attend these parenting classes for a small fee.
  • All classes are free to parents.

The Louisiana Department of Social Services Family Resources for Early Education funds FREE classes and welcomes this opportunity to provide early education for parents and interested child care providers.
