Better Baby Care

The goal of AGENDA FOR CHILDREN'S Better Baby Care Project is to create an informed, active constituency for improved infant/toddler care policies by:

  • Building public awareness of the ingredients and importance of policies that support the healthy, well-rounded development of infants and toddlers

  • preparing an informed constituency to advocate for improved policies and practices by acquainting them with the current policy framework that impacts infants and toddlers, as well as the channels for change.

Agenda for Children would like to improve infant and toddler care by all caregivers, including parents, relatives and formal or informal child-care providers. Please join us in our efforts by calling 504.586.8509 or toll free 1.800.486.1712.

National Mission
Better Baby Care is a national initiative to encourage and support state and local advocates to promote the healthy development of babies, toddlers and families.

Better Baby Care provides a comprehensive, research-based approach to inform public policy, build public will, advance professional education and enhance practice in order to improve early health, family support and early learning.
